Foster update 6/21/18

Gypsy had 5 puppies on 6/16 and 6/17/18. The whelping went smoothly and Gypsy is a great mom. All pups are healthy and thriving. There are 3 males and 2 females. The male are 1 black with white chest, 1 chocolate, and 1 white with black head. The females are 1 black (just like her mommy) and one white with black head a tail.

This week has been amazing. Gypsy is nursing well and taking excellent care of her pups. She’s eating as much as she wants and even adding a little needed meat to her own bones. She takes her potty breaks in the backyard or at the cove at the end of our cul de sac and enjoys some loves and rubs before going back to her box. Her fur is glossy and soft and she’s enjoying lots of well- deserved pampering.

Her pups are as cute as can be and are all nursing well. Each has at least doubled his or her birthweight. The black girl is the smallest but thriving nonetheless. The other girl, white with black tail, is at the other end of the spectrum as the chunkiest monkey.

They should be opening their eyes this week! The wonder and joy continue...

George is one cool pup. He has a black head with a racing stripe down the middle and a white body which is developing black spots daily just like a Dalmation! George like all the pups is eating well, growing like a weed, and learning to walk.
