Foster Update:

Glenn is a handsome hunk of a lab. He loves playing at the dog park and fetching tennis balls...he's good with other dogs, but is mostly focused on his special person and his ball. This made it easy for him to learn the love of swimming.

Heís a Velcro dog...following his special person everywhere. Loud noises don't bother him.

He was a bit anxious when he first came to us. It seems that he hasn't been in a house before, so he's learning house manners. He's learning stairs and is a speed racer running up and down, (I think he likes this new sport)! He can be a little rambunctious with all the excitement of his new life so no small children...he may knock them over. He's also learning when itís time to settle down.

He stays in a crate when we are not home due to him exploring his new environment. He is good in his crate and super relaxed as long as itís not in a dark room and he can see out.

He would do fine in a house with other dogs or as an only dog.

Heís great in the backseat of the car... just chills out and doesnít try to sneak in front. Weíve taken him to the garden store, the La Jolla mall and to the coffee shop and he is great on a gentle leader. He likes to sniff everything so you do have to keep him in check so he doesn't break things.

Now that he has overcome the anxiousness of all the changes and new adventures in his life, he sleeps so soundly that he startles easily when he's in a deep sleep. He is clearly catching up on lost sleep now that he feels safe and secure.

He rarely barks, with the exception of the neighborhood Husky, and is super smart. We're working on sit, stay, and other commands.

With a little time and training, he will be a good boy.

Oh, and no cats he thinks they are stuffed animals and will try and grab one. Not out to hurt them heís just super playful:). If you would like to meet Glenn, complete and
