Description:
Goldie update 9/9 - She has made a lot of progress with her allergies. It appears she will need to stay on monthly meds to maintain. Goldie will do anything for attention and love and often tries to get up into your lab while working or watching TV. She is good on walks although she does get excited when she sees another dog or human. The only time she really pulls is when she sees a cat or critter to chase, so we know she has a prey drive. Goldie has made progress with learning how to be a dog from her furry foster siblings and now even engages in play. She has also made progress in not being so mouthy. There are still things that are new to her but she is a smart girl and wants to please so she will benefit from training. She still loves to de-stuff toys, play ball, go on walks, cuddle and get tummy rubs. Goldie is a sweet girl, who takes treats gently and wants as much love and attention as you can give her.

Goldie update 8/6 - This sweet, loving and crazy girl is adorable. She really loves her humans but sometimes she gets too excited and will jump all over you and get mouthy. Her idea of fun is showing stuffed toys that she's in charge, which means a thorough de-stuffing process. She actually is quite the chewer and loves antlers, bark, etc. Goldie has a fair amount of energy but will also nap in your office or bedroom. She likes playing ball, is good on walks and knows some basic commands. There are times when her behavior is more like a 4yo going on 1yo. Fortunately she is very sweet and loving, so her craziness is easy to forgive. She will need a home that gives her tons of attention. Goldie's allergies are getting better with various treatments, but she will still be allergy-prone and likely need a specific regimen to stay healthy.

Goldie just joined LR family! She's an owner turn in from OC and has been staying in a new foster home with foster siblings. She's a four-year old, purebred yellow, with ACA paperwork. She needs to be checked by our vet for her allergy problems. Please check back to see updates on Goldie as the foster gets to know more about her personality.
