Description: Dylan is a gentle, brown nose Dudley boy who has not had the best of care. He came to us with sores from lying on hard ground and a filthy coat. First up for him was a nice bath, which he loved. Despite his condition he is a happy, tail wagging lab who greeted a number of people and dogs with a calm, pleasant demeanor. We will know more about Dylan after he sees one of our partner vets and goes to foster so please check back.

Update 09/03/18: Dylan is feeling like a new dog after having some benign masses removed and will soon be ready to meet his forever family. He is a gentle giant who loves people and other dogs. He is housebroken and sleeps quietly through the night. He seems interested in the pool however needs to wait until sutures are removed to check it out.

Dylan 4541 Foster's Update (9/13/2018: Dylan has been here, as our guest, for a few days now. He has healed nicely after his minor surgeries and is doing great. Dylan is a love. A big sweet Dudley boy. He doesn't seem to have an ounce of aggression in him. He is good with other dogs, no food or toy aggression at all. He is housebroken and behaves very well in the house. No chewing, counter cruising, or trash diving. He doesn't seem to be much interested in playing with toys, just chew sticks and such. He mainly just wants to hang out with his people and get head scratches and belly rubs. He rides well in the vehicles and is pretty good on the leash. He doesn't seem to have a prey drive. He ignores the lizards that scurry around in the bushes and doesn't look twice at our chickens in the backyard. Because of this, he may be good with cats, but we have no way to test this. We don't have a cat. Dylan will be perfect in a new home with or without other dogs. He has taken to sleeping in the open crate in my room. He will sleep in there, but doesn't like it if I close the crate door. Dylan is just a Big Sweet Lug of a Dudley Yellow Boy.

If you are interested in Dylan and would like to give him his forever home, please fill out an application on this website.
