This beautiful boy is Scout, he was found as a stray on the streets and taken to a scary shelter, where the LR ladies met him and bought him into LR.
Update: Scout has been with us for a few days now. When he first came here, he was newly neutered and was showing alpha behavior towards the other dogs. He has calmed down now, which usually happens after the hormone levels start to drop. He is getting along pretty well with the other dogs presently. Scout is a very active boy, for his age. He is a little on the smallish side for a Labrador, and he is very sweet. Constantly smiling and doing the full body wag. He is housebroken, has not counter cruised, chewed anything that he shouldn't, or trash dived. However, it is impossible to keep him off the beds and the sofa. He does have a strong prey drive, so would not be good with cats. He walks fairly well on the leash and loves to go for rides in the car/truck. He also loves his toys and will play by himself, if no one is interested in playing with him. He is a real loving dog, that wants to please and be with his people.
We think Scout is a dream dog, he is very sweet natured and mellow and easy going and just a real nice boy.
Scout is looking for his forever home, never to be dumped again. If you would like to meet him; fill out an adoption application on the website.
