| Description: This handsome lad is Montgomery. He's an older boy who is very polite, well mannered, quiet, happy, loving and would make a great companion dog. He knows some commands, is excellent with other dogs and is a true gentleman. He's a smart boy and learns very quickly. He appears to have been an "outside" dog in his previous life and is so very happy and grateful to be an "inside" dog now. He does have significant arthritis issues in his hips and hocks, but is doing very good on his meds, so much so that he bounces down the hallway every morning. Monty loves his short daily walks but is also content to lay nicely at your feet. Although he would never intentionally hurt anybody or anything, the arthritis makes him clumsy, so caution with small children is in order.
