Meet Laverne. Laverne is a lovely active senior girl who ended up in high kill shelter with her best friend Shirley. She loves to be around people and will wiggle and smile at getting lots of attention. Laverne would be happiest in a home with another dog.

Laverne now has a Foster home. She is very sweet and mellow. She likes to walk around the house with her favorite plush toy. Laverne likes to go for walks, but she does pull. She is very good with the Gentle Leader. Laverne is very good about setting and waiting for you to put the Gentle Leader on her. Laverne is good with other dogs, and enjoys meeting new dogs at the dog park. Laverne was cat tested at Markim. She didn't interested in the cats. She loves to roll around on the grass in the back yard. Laverne has some fear of loud street noises. We are working on that.
