This cute boy is Nick. Nick is a cute smaller boy who is ready to start his new life in America!! Nick has flown here all the way from Taiwan! Life in Taiwan is not so great for large animals like Nick, and a majority of them are turned out onto the streets. Nick lucked out and was saved by a great rescue group, and then sent to us. Nick is up to date on vaccinations, neutered and ready to go. He is a mellow guy and will make someone a great pet!!
Update 2/28: Nick is here and "wonderful" is an understatement! He's friendly, happy, his tail is always wagging and a dream to be with. His house manners are perfect, just like his personality. He rides great in the car and loves car rides, takes treats gently, gets along famously with his foster siblings, and is an all-around fabulous guy. He'll snuggle right up for petting and make sure he's leaning against you - actually he thinks he's a lap dog. He falls asleep on the couch every night as we all watch tv. And he knows at least sit and shake too. He's been to the groomer for a nail trim and once again, he was perfect - the Dremel grinding didn't phase him and his tail wagged the whole time. His calm demeanor and sweet personality makes him a real treasure.
His coat is super soft and he's at an ideal weight. He has big brown eyes with dark eyeliner and will melt your heart when he looks at you. But we do have to say no cats for Nick as he is way to interested in them and thinks they're something to chase. We think Nick is a very special boy and many of the volunteers have already fallen in love with him.
