Lovely Lily is a 4 year old perfect example of a white English Lab. She is so perfect she was used most of her life as a breeder and making puppies. But after she was found stray and injured, and landed in a high kill shelter, we quickly came to her rescue and found the beautiful princess Labby girl that she certainly is. She is sweet, sweet, sweet, friendly and loving with everyone she meets. She's also good with other dogs. She loves to be with people and just soaks up the attention that she never had, so we'll be looking for a family where someone is home most of the time. Lily likes her leash walks and needs to be on a regular exercise regimen of 2-3 short walks a day and measured low-cal food so she can lose some of her extra weight. Her perfect weight will be between 70-75 lbs.
Lily loves to roll on her back and get belly rubs - she'll just lay there for however long you want to pet her. She is housetrained and doesn't get on the furniture. She rides great in the car, but needs help getting in and out due to her extra weight right now. She's living with 2 Labs in her foster home, and doing great with them.
Sadly, Lily was obviously attacked by another animal as she had several bite wounds in her hind end which have been treated and are now healing nicely. She's been spayed, is current on her shots and starting to get back in shape very slowly. She'll be ready for adoption soon. Please read our posts for more updates on beautiful Lily ~ a very special girl indeed.
