Description: Jackson is currently settling at fosters home (in South OC near Dana Point). He was turned over by his family due to baby & unable to take care of him as needed. He is a hunk of yellow lab love & young pup energy. He is house trained & takes treats well.

Jackson loves walks, jogging, ball fetch, pretty much everything & is interested in other dogs & playing. He is good walking but needs a training collar or harness/ collar combination & an alert human walker in the event of small animal sitings & other dogs.

Jackson will make an amazing dog, but needs owners willing to work with him on his pup manners that went untrained at his younger age; & dog training classes as soon as adopted-walking, greeting, play, boundaries, etc. We are working on it all now too. He's a willing & quick learning trainee. 'Will train for treats'. :)

He is definitely a lab that will need more than just a neighborhood stroll once a day. Long training walks, jogs- which he is good at, fetch will benefit him greatly. I think its safe to say he would love water play too. Probably dog daycare too. He is a bit of a goof when moving around, so put away the breakables & he might do best with 4-5 & older children, I haven't tested him around toddlers yet- he's sweet but they may need to brace for impact & he will need to learn what toys are his and the childrens'. He hasn't realized his size just yet, with training he will get that fast.

He's sweet, smart & willing to learn, and just trying to settle after his life was changed... contact us if you would like to meet Jackson or have any questions.
