Coco's owners are going through a divorce and the father gave Coco and his 8 y/o yellow female sibling away. They somehow got lost and ended up on the Euthanasia list at the Shelter after sitting there for one month. Their 18 year old son was devastated thinking his dogs would be put to sleep. A family friend got them out of the shelter, kept them at their house for a few days but could not keep them. Thank goodness they reached out to Lab Rescuers.
Their 18 y/o son was in tears seeing them leave, but the love that he has for his labs, his goodness of heart, good sense and determination is what saved their lives.
Lab Rescuers will find them loving homes because that's what we do.
They are both lovely dogs, mellow, easy going and great with the other dogs.
Coco is a lovable giant that nudges into you for affection.
He loves to swim, but at the moment is healing from a large fatty tumor removal provided for by Lab Rescuers.
Coco is good on leash, great with kids and doesn't even show much interest in neighborhood cats.
This boy is a real Charmer. Any family that adopts this boy will be very lucky indeed.
