Trigger is on the chunky side with arthritis, but friendly as can be. He is very friendly and social with all dogs big and small. He was tested with both a large and small dog at the shelter, seems to really like water, took treats gently and we heard he is really good with kids. .
Come back for updates on Trigger as he settles into his foster home.
This boy is a sweetheart. He cracks me up. He splashes in a large water bowl. He will just hang out in a kids pool. He really likes to just hang out with his peeps and dog friends. Such a sweet boy. Good on leash. Knows sit. Good in the car. Great with any dog or person he meets.
01/14/18 FOSTER HOME UPDATE: He is settled into his foster home. EXCELLENT with kids. Our 2yr old grandson hugs him while he is laying down and he just seems to love it. He is slow moving his back legs are a weak from lack of use I assume. He sometimes needs encouragement to get up and sometimes needs a little help if he is on a slippery surface like tile, wood, linoleum or Pergo. He would LOVE a home with carpet or carpet runners throughout so he feels more secure when walking. He wants to be apart of whatever is going on so if you leave the room and he canít see you he will bark to let you know that he misses you. He likes to walk around our property and follow the other dogs when he feels like it. He isnít and wonít be neutered due to his age. If you have male dogs he might be interested in them for a short period and then he gets over it. He takes some medication which he will need to continue. His sore on his nose and elbow are healing nicely. He is super special and needs a loving home where he can live out the best years of his life. Contact LR for more information on this WONDERFUL boy.
