Our fees for application and adoption offset just a tiny portion of the costs associated with the rescue of each dog; our fees and donations benefit the dogs completely by funding their rescue, boarding, health care and food. We are 100% not-for-profit and run completely by volunteers, which means that every dollar we receive goes directly back to the dogs for their care. For many dogs we specify that a “refundable training” deposit is required; this is to ensure that you and your dog start out life together with every advantage, and this deposit is refunded once training classes have been completed. Because our fees don’t cover the actual high costs of our rescue, we appreciate an extra helping hand from those who want to support these wonderful dogs!
We work hard during the adoption process to match you with a dog who will flourish in your home, and take great care to educate owners about labs and adopted dogs before they bring home a new companion. Although we hope you will have no need to return a dog you have adopted, if that circumstance were to arise, our adoption fees are not refundable.

Adoption fee - puppies under 12 mo: $200-$450
Adoption fee - dogs age 1 - 7 yrs: $275
Adoption Fee - adult dogs over 8 yrs: $175
